Griffin Yarns is the product of two sisters -- one who knits, and one
who travels. The traveller went to Germany one summer and, at the
request of the knitter, bought and brought back a suitcase full of
German yarn. For her end of the bargain, the knitter made the
traveller several things out of the yarn she chose. Both were
amazed at the variety, quality, and low price of the yarn available in
Germany, and frustrated that the yarn wasn't available in the United
States. Together, they decided to do something about it.
That something is Griffin Yarns. We search for yarns that are
unavailable or hard to find in America (and Canada), and bring them
over to share with other knitters. If you have any special
